OBITUARY

n[/if 107]

Lawrence (Larry) Brian Lederman EAST WINDSOR, 67, died March 5, 2024. A native of Manhattan, Larry was a renowned harness and thoroughbred racetrack announcer over the course of three-plus decades, serving that role at New Jersey’s Atlantic City Race Course, Freehold Raceway and Garden State Park, as well as an in-demand guest at many other tracks. Combining a sharp wit (he once shared a stand-up microphone with Robin Williams) and spot-on impressions, Larry had a unique style which made him immensely popular throughout the sport. Hollywood even took notice, as Larry lent his inimitable voice to ‘A Bronx Tale.’ However, Larry’s greatest feat was his courageous battle over several years with cancer. Humor, faith and love (given and received) were never in short supply. Predeceased by his wife, Jodi, and daughter, Leslie, Larry is survived by his brother, Alan, son, Scott, and granddaughter, Cayden.
